CSF's twin intercooler set for the Porsche 991 Turbo and Turbo S features a 115mm-wide bar/plate core - up from the OEM's 80mm - with 100% TIG-welded cast end tanks and an aerospace-grade nano-particle heat dispersion coating that dissipates heat approximately 35% better than uncoated aluminum. The larger core handles significantly more airflow and higher boost pressures than the OEM crimped tube/fin design, which can crack under race conditions. Considered a mandatory upgrade for vehicles running upgraded turbo systems or aggressive performance tunes.

Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
