Description:
CSF's front mount heat exchanger for the F8X BMW addresses the S55 engine's well-documented heat soak problem and is a true drop-in fit requiring no modifications. It accepts all OEM attaching components including quick-connect hoses, mounting brackets, the OEM X-brace, and all air ducting. Available in polished or satin black finish. CSF recommends pairing it with their charge-air-cooler for best results, but the heat exchanger is the stronger starting point if upgrading in stages.

Q: What is a radiator hose? Why buy one?
A: Radiator hoses connect your radiator to your engine, allowing coolant to pass through, but also allowing for some flexibility in order to accommodate the engine as it twists and vibrates. It is common for OEM radiator hoses to get leaks and tears from exposure to the tremendous heat and fluids that exist under the hood of your vehicle. While a stock replacement hose will work just fine as a fix, there are also fantastic upgraded units available. High-performance silicone radiator hoses feature tougher construction for improved resistance to heat and chemicals, they do not stretch and expand like rubber, and they will remain pliable for years to come unlike rubber hoses which dry out and crack. For a little extra money you can step up to far superior silicone hoses and drive with renewed confidence. In addition silicone hoses are available in an assortment of colors that will give your engine bay a great custom look.
