CSF's power steering cooler is designed specifically for the E9X M3 to keep fluid temps in check during hard street and track driving. Overheated power steering fluid causes bubbles in the system, leading to sloppy steering response and a noisy pump.

A: An oil cooler is a heat exchanger for the engines motor oil. Most automatic transmissions are equipped with an oil cooler that's located inside the radiator. The engine's cooling system is usually adequate to keep oil temperatures within safe limits, but when you start modifying your motor with high performance parts, sometimes heat plays a factory.
