CSF's Heavy Duty Charge Air Cooler for the 99-03 Ford Super Duty 7.3L TD uses all-aluminum bar-and-plate construction with cast end tanks pressure tested to 120 psi. It installs as a direct drop-in with OEM-style inlet and outlet connections, and ships with CSF's Thermal Rejection powder coating, which the company rates at up to 15% better heat dissipation than uncoated units.

Q: What is an intercooler? Why buy an intercooler?
A: Both superchargers and turbochargers heat air as they compress it. This heat can hurt the combustion process by changing the density of air entering the intake manifold from a cool charge to a hot one.
