CSF's heavy-duty charge air cooler for the 03-09 Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L turbo diesel uses all-aluminum bar-and-plate construction with cast end tanks pressure-tested to 120 psi. It drops in with OEM-style inlet/outlet connections and ships with CSF's Thermal Rejection powder coating, which claims up to 15% better heat dissipation over uncoated units.

Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.

A: Both superchargers and turbochargers heat air as they compress it.
