CSF's heavy-duty charge air cooler for 01-05 6.6L Duramax Silverado/Sierra HD uses all-aluminum bar-and-plate construction with cast end tanks pressure tested to 120 psi. It drops in with OEM-style inlet/outlet connections and no modifications, and ships with CSF's Thermal Rejection powder coating for up to 15% better heat dissipation.

Q: Do intercoolers work for any vehicle? Is there any pre-condition needed for me to buy an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are sold either individually as universal cores or as kits with piping and couplers included. Turbocharged and supercharged engines can utilize intercoolers effectively while naturally aspirated vehicles do not have use for them.

A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
