CSF's heavy-duty bar-and-plate intercooler for the 2013-2017 Ram 2500/3500 6.7L diesel is built from all-aluminum with cast end tanks pressure-tested to 120 psi. It drops in with OEM-style inlet/outlet connections and ships with CSF's Thermal Rejection powder coating, which offers up to 15% better heat dissipation over uncoated units.

Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
Q: What is an intercooler? Why buy an intercooler?
A: Both superchargers and turbochargers heat air as they compress it. This heat can hurt the combustion process by changing the density of air entering the intake manifold from a cool charge to a hot one. An intercooler is used to lower the temperature of the air and in turn increase the density of that air, so more air can enter the cylinders and create more power.
