COMP Cams' steel retainers are CNC-machined from SAE 4140 chromemoly steel and designed specifically for valve springs with larger diameters that develop higher pressures. A contoured top profile reduces stress and mass while allowing increased lift. These are a 7-degree retainer for use with spring #26918.
