COMP Cams' Belt Drive System for Chevy Big Block engines uses an infinitely adjustable Vernier sprocket for precise timing accuracy and a unique belt idler system to reduce belt flap across the rpm range. Double lip seals support long crankcase vacuum, and the design absorbs crankshaft harmonics to guard against valvetrain instability.
