COMP Cams' Grooving Tool Lifter Bore precisely grooves the lifter bore to direct pressure-fed oil into the contact area between the lifter and camshaft, significantly reducing wear and break-in failure risk. The kit includes the grooving tool, cutter, and handle; a carbide cutter is sold separately. The engine must be disassembled for use.
