COMP Cams' LS-X Single Hex Adjustable Timing Set features induction-hardened steel billet gears, a pre-stretched heat-treated single roller chain, and a Torrington roller thrust bearing to reduce friction. The infinitely adjustable cam sprocket offers up to 6 degrees of advance or retard, while the 3-keyway crank sprocket adds 4-degree incremental adjustability. Suited for street performance and race applications.

As the crankshaft spins around and the pistons go up and down, it is crucial that the camshafts open up the valves in precise synchronicity with the rise and fall of the pistons.
