Cometic's MLS head gasket for the Chevy 2.2L and 2.2L TK4 is built from multiple embossed stainless steel layers with Viton-coated outer layers, running a 0.030 in. compressed thickness. No sealants are required, and the construction handles both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast-iron pairings.
