Cometic's MLS head gasket for the Cadillac 4.6L 32V is built from multiple embossed stainless steel layers with Viton-coated outer surfaces, giving it a compressed operating thickness of 0.040 inches on the left-hand side. No sealants are required, and the construction handles both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast-iron pairings.
