Cometic's MLS cylinder head gasket for the Honda B18A1/B18B1 uses three to five layers of stainless steel for strength, corrosion resistance, and rebound. Outer layers are embossed and Viton-coated on both sides, with heat resistance to 250 degrees C (482 degrees F). Bore is 81.5mm at .018in thickness.

Q: What is a head gasket? Why buy a head gasket?
A: The head gasket is located in between your head and your bottom block to help prevent compression leaks and coolant leaks. When your vehicle overheats, there's a chance the head gasket is blown, or if you're running a high horsepower vehicle or one with a lot of boost, it can warp and blow.
