Cognito's Idler Arm Support for the Chevy/GMC 2500/3500 HD addresses a known OEM weakness where the factory idler pivot shaft and frame tabs bend under load, throwing the drag link angle off and accelerating tie rod and tire wear. The kit includes a hardened alloy steel shaft with tapered roller bearings plus a weld-in gusset to reinforce the frame tabs and keep steering geometry where it belongs. Installation requires welding.
