Upgrade 1/8 inch fittings to 1/4 inch fittings for better control of external wastegate setups. Includes new boost line, plastic t-fitting and zip ties. Barb fittings are nickel plated for corrosion resistance. Low profile fittings allow the Electronic Boost Controller to fit in tight confines in the engine bay.

Q: How do you install a wastegate?
A: Wategates are mounted onto the turbo manifold by using a flange. Basic bolting of it is needed for installation.

Q: What is a wastegate? Why buy a wastegate?
A: A wastegate regulates boost by allowing excess exhaust pressure to bleed off. Wastegates generally come in two different types. The first is an internal wastegate, which is controlled by a wastegate actuator and bleeds directly into the exhaust system. An external wastegate is controlled by a boost controller and can be directed to bleed either into the exhaust system or directly into the atmosphere. It's mounted wherever there's space for it. External wastegates can handle more boost, but can be too big to fit in the space next to the turbo.
