This part is legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles in all 50 states when used in accordance with the manufacturer's application guide because it has a California Air Resources Board (CARB) Executive Order (EO) number: D-660-71
The COBB Front Mount Intercooler (FMIC) for your Focus RS is the easiest way to drastically improve power when coupled with tuning from the V3 Accessport. The much larger 26 inch x 8.6 inch x 5 inch core produces a signifcant volume inscrease compared to stock, resulting in up to 25% improved efficiency with only about a .3-.5 psi pressure drop despite the significant increase in size. A unique feature is the custom designed fin within the inchhot side inch endtank to help evenly disperse incoming air across the entire core. Install is easy with no bumper trimming required and worm clamps ensure a leak-free connection to the factory charge pipes.

A: Intercoolers are sold either individually as universal cores or as kits with piping and couplers included. Turbocharged and supercharged engines can utilize intercoolers effectively while naturally aspirated vehicles do not have use for them.
