COBB Tuning - Subaru EJ TGV Shaft Seal Kit
The COBB TGV Shaft Seal Kit consists of two billet aluminum plates that have been anodized black. A COBB logo is then laser etched on the end of each. Two o-rings, one for each plate, provide a quality seal to the TGV's housing. These install into the end of the TGV housing that is opposite of the combined sensor/motor on late model Subaru EJ powered vehicles.

A: Your engine is suspended in your vehicle using soft motor mounts that are attached to strong metal brackets. These brackets physically bolt to your chassis to keep your motor secure in place allowing it to transmit power to the rear wheels instead of flopping and twisting itself to pieces. Because of the tremendous strain that they are subjected to, engine mount brackets are prone to cracking and failing over the years. A broken engine bracket can cause a host of problems from running issues to vibrations. If you suspect that you have a worn out bracket, be sure to replace it with a new unit ASAP to keep your vehicle running in tip top condition and prevent further damage from occurring to your ride.
