Q: What is a crankshaft? Why buy one?
A: The crankshaft is at the heart of your motor. It spins round and round driving the pistons up and down and directing power to the rest of the drivetrain. Over time your crankshaft can wear out at the bearing surfaces to the point where you will require an entirely new crank. Replacement crankshafts are available so that you can properly rebuild your motor and restore your vehicle’s performance. Stroker crankshafts are also available and feature a longer stroke for the connecting rods which effectively increases engine displacement and can drastically boost horsepower and torque.
