A: Most modern cars are lowered differently from trucks because the suspension needed to support them is different. In terms of truck suspension, not every truck is built the same, and so full lowering kits are comprised differently depending on the truck. The key thing to consider is not always the components of the lowering kit, but simply the drop the lowering kit achieves. Additionally, it is important to determine if you want shocks or not with your kit since some full kits come with shocks, and some come without.
