Belltech's BT Lowering Block Kit uses extruded aluminum blocks to drop the rear of your mini truck 4 inches by increasing the distance between the leaf spring and the axle. Each kit includes blocks, U-bolts, Nyloc nuts, and washers. Extruded aluminum carries higher strength ratings than cast or steel alternatives.

A: Most modern cars are lowered differently from trucks because the suspension needed to support them is different. In terms of truck suspension, not every truck is built the same, and so full lowering kits are comprised differently depending on the truck. The key thing to consider is not always the components of the lowering kit, but simply the drop the lowering kit achieves. Additionally, it is important to determine if you want shocks or not with your kit since some full kits come with shocks, and some come without. Shocks don't play any role in the actual lowering of your truck; they simply ensure that once lowered, your truck maintains or improves ride quality.
Q: Is it necessary to buy shocks if you buy a lowering kit? Do lowering kits include shocks?
A: Lowering shocks are strongly recommended when lowering a truck because factory shocks are built to be optimal for factory ride height.
