ARB's swingaway tire carrier for the 80 Series Land Cruiser mounts the spare to the bumper assembly via a swing-out arm, eliminating stress on the rear door hinges and keeping the tire accessible in off-road conditions. A gas strut assists opening and holds the carrier in position; closing is a simple slam-shut with a spring-loaded locking pin.
