Description:
ARB's Under Vehicle Protection panels are laser-cut, press-formed 3mm sheet steel designed to shield the steering, engine sump, transmission, and transfer case on the Ford Bronco. The four-panel system bolts directly to the chassis for continuous coverage from the front bumper to the rear of the transfer case, and fits with or without an ARB front bumper. Note that full servicing requires panel removal, though a removable insert in the second panel allows engine oil draining without full disassembly.

A: Skid plates are steel or metal plates designed to protect the undercarriage of your vehicle from hard impacts and damage from things like rocks and tree branches. There are a huge range of applications for skid plates including u-bolt protection, gas tank protection, transfer case and transmission guards, oil pan guards and suspension protection. Any component under your vehicle is vulnerable to a ground attack. If you drive on rough roads then it is a good idea to add some armor to your undercarriage with aftermarket skid plates. These plates have been designed to withstand heavy abuse to keep your vehicle safe and in good running condition. The last thing you want when driving down the trail is to punch a hole in your oil pan or gas tank.
