Description:
ARB's Under Vehicle Protection panels for the 2019-on Ford Ranger are laser cut, press formed, and folded from 3mm sheet steel with return edges on each panel for added rigidity. The three-piece kit covers steering, engine sump, transmission, and transfer case with panels that bolt directly to the chassis and cross members. Fits with or without an ARB front bumper; fitment with other bar designs has not been confirmed.

A: Skid plates are steel or metal plates designed to protect the undercarriage of your vehicle from hard impacts and damage from things like rocks and tree branches. There are a huge range of applications for skid plates including u-bolt protection, gas tank protection, transfer case and transmission guards, oil pan guards and suspension protection. Any component under your vehicle is vulnerable to a ground attack. If you drive on rough roads then it is a good idea to add some armor to your undercarriage with aftermarket skid plates. These plates have been designed to withstand heavy abuse to keep your vehicle safe and in good running condition. The last thing you want when driving down the trail is to punch a hole in your oil pan or gas tank. With a protective skid plate mounted you no longer have to worry about getting stranded in the middle of nowhere.
