APR's Short Shifter System for the 6MT 02Q/0FB is a comprehensive factory shifter assembly replacement designed to reduce throw in all directions while improving shift quality. It includes front-to-back and side-to-side adjustment and counterweight tuning for feel.
APR's Short Shifter System for the 6MT 02Q/0FB is a comprehensive factory shifter assembly replacement designed to reduce throw in all directions while improving shift quality. It includes front-to-back and side-to-side adjustment and counterweight tuning for feel.
Q: How do you install a short shifter?
A: Short shifters are installed by removing your factory shift lever from your transmission. Your center console will have to be removed along with your shift boot and shift knob in order to access the lower part of your shifter mechanism. Once removed, the short shifter should be directly bolted in and everything should be re-assembled. Instructions are included and installation takes around 30 minutes with ordinary hand tools.
Q: Are short shifters available for every vehicle?
A: Short shifters are vehicle specific and are not universal. They are not available for any automatic transmission vehicles.
