AIRAID's Modular Intake Tube (MIT) is constructed from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene and is built to fit specific vehicle applications, including the 2015 Tahoe, 2014 Silverado, and 2014 GMC Yukon 5.3L. It flows up to 400 CFM more than the stock tube and installs in minutes with included hardware. Not legal for sale or use in California and some other states.

A: Air intakes are a true bolt-on application. The removal of your factory air box and resonator will be needed and the air intake installed in its place. Basic hand tools are needed, and the intake installs in minutes. If you don't regularly work on your truck yourself, installing an air intake might be a great way to get started and get familiarized because it's perhaps the most simple bolt-on performance upgrade you can do. Alternatively, you can take it to a shop to have it installed and expect the labor cost to be low since it would be an hour or less of labor most likely.
Q: Do you have to buy an air filter if you're buying an air intake?
A: Aair intakes are usually sold with all the components needed including the filter and all adapters.
