Description:
This Stage 1 cold air intake system produces 5hp and 5.5lbs. x ft. torque. This air intake system features a washable/reusable conical air filter that improves airflow for increased horsepower and torque. Filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.
This intake is 50-state legal for 2001-2003 models (CARB E.O Number D-550-3).

A drop-in air filter is installed by opening up your stock air box, pulling out your factory paper filter and replacing it with the new high flow unit. If you opt for the open-element air filter, then your whole air box should be removed and replaced with the new filter. If the filter is universal (not vehicle-specific), slight modifications using reducers and couplers may be needed depending on the size of the filter and intake hosing.
