aFe's Takeda Momentum cold air intake for the 2012-2017 Hyundai Veloster (non-turbo) uses a 7-1/2 inches 360-degree radial flow filter with a 4 inches flange and oil-free Pro DRY S three-layer synthetic media. The sealed XLPE polymer housing resists heat soak, and a clear sight window lets you inspect the filter without disassembly. Direct-fit installation uses factory mounting points with no cutting required. Pro DRY S media is best suited for street use.

A: Cold air intakes are not offered for every vehicle and are vehicle specific. There are no universal kits available on the market.
Q: Do you have to buy an air filter if you're buying a cold air intake?
A: Cold air intakes are usually sold with all the components needed including the filter and all adapters.

A short ram intake is located inside the engine bay and creates power with better response times than a cold air, however the air is not as dense, which means that it doesn't make as much power in the upper RPM region and makes less power overall.
