aFe's MACH Force-ST Sound-Core is a patent-pending 1.25-inch 304 stainless steel tuning insert compatible with MACH Force-ST and Takeda ST exhaust systems. It installs between the two stepped V-band flanges to control muffler bypass flow and adjust exhaust tone via a reflection-chamber design. Remove it entirely for full volume, or leave it in for a toned-down street note - no exhaust valve required.
