aFe's Twisted Steel HDR X-Pipe is mandrel-bent from 304 stainless steel tubing at 2-1/2 inches diameter for the 01-06 BMW M3 3.2L S54. The mitered merge X-pipe design balances exhaust pulses to minimize drone and maximize scavenging, and in-house dyno testing showed gains of up to +13 hp and +20 lb-ft of torque when paired with aFe PN 49-36339. All welds are 100% hand TIG-welded, and the kit includes gaskets for a direct bolt-on fit.
