A: Oil coolers are installed using aluminum fittings and high quality hosing. Placement must be decided first and then installation of all the fittings and lines should be done.

A: An oil cooler is a heat exchanger for the engines motor oil. Most automatic transmissions are equipped with an oil cooler that's located inside the radiator.
