Q: What is a diffuser? Why buy one?
A: A diffuser is an aerodynamic device which helps improve down force and reduce drag thus improving both speed and handling especially on the race track. Diffusers normally mount underneath your vehicle at the tail end of the car and help the high speed air under the car transition into slower flowing air at the rear of the vehicle. By making this transition smoother the vehicle becomes more slippery through the air, and by speeding up the air in front of the diffuser, the vehicle gets pulled harder toward the ground.
