AEM's EV CAN Keypad is an 8-button CAN-based unit with programmable backlighting that does more than set a mood. The backlight serves as a live status indicator: no light means contactors are open, yellow signals pre-charge in progress, green confirms contactors closed and the vehicle is safe to drive, and red indicates a detected fault.
