New Buyers Delivery Checklist

If you are getting ready to take delivery of a new or used Spyder, print out this list to take with you to the dealer. Sometimes the excitement of a new car will make you forget about the little details like - make sure the tires are not inflated to 50 PSI! A little more time spent in the showroom might reduce the chance of missing something that you will have to take your beloved friend back to the dealer for.
Paperwork
Check VIN number against paperwork
Get Two regular keys (black) and one valet key (gray)
Get Two remotes
Run through remote entry operation:
Press once = driver’s side door unlocks
Press twice (within 10
seconds) = passenger side door unlocks, also
General condition of body:
Paint should be perfect
Plastic pieces should be tight
No dents, dings, or scratches
Front license plate holder not installed/ bumper not drilled?
Dealer emblems absent
External areas
Hood – Rear opens?
Trunk – Front opens?
Storage Compartment
Locking clips functional?
Spare Tire – Air?
Gas Door Opens
Full tank of gas
Tires
Air Pressure: 32 rear, 26 front
Wheel Locks, if ordered
Convertible top
Check rear shelf straps
Run through operation
Check folding of ears
Interior
Seat belts
Odometer
Floor mats, clip installed on drivers side?
Owner’s Manual
Carbon fiber dash applique, if ordered
Lights-need 2nd person
Check operation of all climate controls
Radio - CD, tape, and FM reception
