| One question that keeps coming up over and over again is
how do the straps on the top attach. Currently, I have my hard top
on and can't take pictures of my top, but I did receive some pictures
from a user awhile back showing their top and damaged straps. (I don't
recall who this was, please tell me and I'll give you credit for the
pics here!). Below are the pictures he sent showing the straps
disconnected and one connected, as well as the Lanyard lines inside the
top.
We didn't receive any additional pictures but did receive several emails that these pictures show enough to figure out how the straps should go and what the clips should look like, etc. We are always happy to update this pictorial and article should more information become available. At last count, at least a dozen Spyder owners received their cars without the strap properly attached. This information was forwarded to Toyota, so hopefully we won't see this occurring as often in the future. |
