Advancing the Future car innovations for the mass market

Car innovations are always changing every year but every once in a while we find some innovations that go beyond concepts, limited runs and limited editions. Though for the present times, we acknowledge that car innovations for drastic automotive design and transformation may seem impractical and hard to implement, still, the future holds a lot of promise to merchandize cars that truly care for practicality, quality construction, functionality and global impact. We want cars that can change the world, not just Europe or America. So now, while we take baby steps, we recognize some important innovations that are truly remarkable in the industry.

In the aspect of controls, advanced control features are now being tested by many. Some innovations include remote controlled cars and driver-less vehicles. The idea of advanced safety by using computer innovation to create unique and attractive cars can be very promising though it is only on experimental phase right now. Technological infrastructures are also being implemented right now as promising innovations to add more functionality controls to the car, ensure more benefits and make it more adaptive to the needs of the advanced society, from youth drivers to senior citizens.

In the realm of energy consumption, a lot of efforts are being made to find ways to lessen fuel reliance and make new engines that run on more abundant resources. From electric cars, liquid nitrogen compressed air and hydrogen cars as well as solar powered cars, the number of options is promising though current technology does not have the capacity to create cost effective and hard wearing innovations to make it transcend beyond limited runs. If these resources were to be used by the masses, there would be some great changes but that would also mean very big investments. Some innovations are still very hard to realize like hydrogen cars that can be tricky to address.

Another aspect for future car innovations would have to be the aspect of energy saving. Right now, most conventional cars are scarcely efficient at 15%. Nowadays, engineers are looking at mechanical, chemical and human factors that can be used to further make the car more energy efficient. From regenerative braking, to patented technologies, compressed air and waste heat management, scientists are trying to find solutions and while the innovations are limited, there is a great future awaiting the masses once concrete innovations are developed. They would cost a lot but it should be able to pay itself pretty easily if the car did become energy efficient.

Engineers are also looking at different materials beyond steel in order to create casings and auto bodies that are cost effective but can also be more functional, heavy duty, collision friendly and highly perceptive of the needs of the future clients. Studies in new surfaces and materials resulted to inquiries on using fiber glass, carbon nanotubes and fiber, duraluminum and other new materials. The research is still going on and definitely, there is great promise especially for collision management and safety if a perfect surface can be found for cars.
