Focus Side Mirror Removal

Removing the stock exterior side mirrors and replacing them with the M3 or euro style side mirrors, these instructions will come in handy. Pretty simple.

Time to Complete: .5 to 1 hour

Tools Required:

• Trim tool.

Instructions:

1. Detach the trim panel
   1. Release the clip.
   2. Detach the locating tangs.
   
   

   

2. Remove the trim panel.
   1. Disconnect the mirror control switch electrical connector.
   
   

   

3. Disconnect the mirror electrical connector.
   1. Release the clip.
   2. Detach the electrical connector.
   3. Disconnect the electrical connector.
   
   

   

4. Detach the mirror.
   1. Remove the bolt.
   
   

   

5. Remove the mirror.
   1. Use a trim tool to release the mirror sail retaining clip.

Install new mirror in reverse.
