TRD Emblem re-install, damage touch-up
Stolen Emblem Damage Repair & Replacement
Around August 1st, 2000, my TRD emblem on the back of my car and my MR/S gas door emblem were stolen from my car while parked in my parking garage at work. Since that time I've installed a Clifford 8000 alarm with proximity sensors and two AutoPage extension modules that detect emblem theft, so if someone tries it again, they are in for a surprise! :-) Below are the pictures of the damage and the paint touch-up, and the reinstall of the TRD emblem. I am still waiting on another MR/S gas door emblem.

Some idiot with a screwdriver took the emblem, I guess peeling it off carefully wasn't on their minds. |
The gas door emblem is missing, you can't see the scratches in the door as easily because there is no black primer underneath, just plastic. |
I added the Clifford alarm stickers, they can't say they weren't warned! |

You can see the two lines of touch-up paint before I polished them smooth. |
After a fair amount of elbow grease and hand-polishing. |
The TRD stickers come in a set of 3. I put one back on the car, sold one, and kept a spare just in case! |
