Fuel Filter
What is a fuel filter? Why buy a fuel filter?
A fuel filter is a unit placed in a fuel line to remove dirt and rush picked up from the bottom of the gas tank or service fittings. Aftermarket fuel filters feature a different filter to allow for a higher volume of fuel to flow through for higher performance motors.
Why To Buy?:
Fuel filters keep all of the crud and dirt out of your fuel system, so by their very nature they can be quite restrictive, especially in high-performance applications. In these cases, it's a good idea to look into a new racing fuel filter to replace that bottleneck of a filter that's currently on your ride, especially if it's been a while since it was last changed. A new fuel filter will keep your fuel system working correctly and will provide all the gas you need to feed your engine.
Did You Know?:
Many aftermarket fuel filter assemblies use replaceable elements, making it quick and easy to replace the filter element without having to remove the housing. Always keep in mind that fuel filters are sometimes specific to fuel-injected or carbureted systems, so be sure you are ordering the correct fuel filter for your application.
