What are driving lights? Why buy them?

Driving lights are aftermarket lights that can be mounted on your vehicle to provide added night time visibility whether you are driving down a dark trail, a dim road, or just in foggy/low visibility conditions. These lights come in a tremendous array of sizes, shapes and power outputs so that you can tailor the setup to your specific driving needs and maintain the aesthetic you want for your ride. Many people confuse driving lights with fog lights, but they are actually quite different in design and use. While fog lights produce a wide and low pattern of light to improve vision through moisture, a set of driving lights actually provide a narrow, long throw of light and are meant to be used in conjunction with your high beams for increased forward visibility through especially dark conditions. This makes them especially useful for some nighttime racing events and off-roading where you have to see where you're headed long before you get there!
