With separate shock height adjustment, you are able to raise or lower the shocks from their lower mounts without having to adjust spring height. What this means is that you can maintain spring and shock travel while still having the means to adjust your vehicle's ride height. Alternatively, it also gives you the ability to slam your ride by adjusting both shock and spring height, should you so choose.
