Our Toyota Mr2 4-puck clutches have a greater torque holding capacity than full disc clutches, at the expense of some drivability. Clutch engagement will usually be somewhat harsh, especially with unsprung discs, and the discs will wear faster than full discs. In fact, people often refer to a puck style disc that has four or fewer pucks as feeling like an on/off switch — the clutch is either engaged, or it isn't, with very little in-between. So, although they're great for the track, you may not want one for the street.
