Your first inclination might be that Subaru Forester 6-puck clutches have less torque holding capacity than a full disc, but actually the opposite is true! They have a lower rotational mass, but they also have somewhat harsher engagement properties. Out of all true puck style clutches, 6-puck versions are usually the friendliest on the street, especially when they have center anti-shock springs. That being said, unless you absolutely have to go with a puck style disc, we still recommend full clutch discs for street driving.
