HOW TO INSTALL RECARO SEATS
The first thing I noticed about my 91 Sentra SE-R was how stiff the suspension felt. My back wasn't
feeling too good after driving long distances. The stiffness was due to 2 things. One: the shocks were blown and
needed to be replaced. Two: the seats are 13 years old and worn out. I decided to go with a brand I know I can trust
when it comes to making seats: Recaro. I'll admit, the price hurts, and it hurts bad. $600 a seat, plus rails and
sliders are another $135 per side. It's an investment but after sitting in them, it feels like my shocks aren't blown
anymore. In particulary, I picked the Recaro SRD seats, which are great for the street and track. They hug very well,
have a pump so you can pump up the lumbar support. They're also a great show piece -- people know your serious when
they see Recaro.

Here is a picture of the new Recaro SRD just being pulled out of its plastic covering. I decided to go
with a dark navy blue. A darker color is easier to maintain and my carpet and interior pieces are dark blue.

Sentra SE-R Seats
Pictured here are the stock seats. The stock Sentra SE-R seats are very nice when they aren't worn
out.

Seat Removal
Taking the stock seats out was very easy. Just remove 4 bolts under the seats. You'll probably find
a lot of loose change and other things you've been looking for under those seats!

Recaro Seat Rails Being Installed
You'll have to put on the sliders and rails. We went with the Wedge Engineering bolt-on brand.
We had the right tools to get the job done.

Rail Adjustment
This front part here is part of the slider. Just pull it up and slide your seat backward and
forward.
