Miss the S2000? Have this Mustache
At the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon last December, Honda debuted a new..er.. revamped.. scratch that.. augmented version of the S2000. Although the car is structurally identical to the model that left the production lines three years ago, this new variant from Honda offers customers revised 10-spoke wheels, a new rear-bumper, "canard-like-winglets" on the trunk, a more aggressive set of rear mufflers and most strikingly, a new front bumper. This bumper is staggeringly... unique. Stretching across the front-bumper is a solid retainer housing two groups of LEDs, giving the impression that the Honda has grown a broad mustache.
Though Honda will not officially release the S2000 "Modulo Climax", Motor Trend establishes that this model will showcase the new line of aftermarket parts for your sporty Honda roadster, which is a mild disappointment. However, if anything, it demonstrates the huge interest in Honda's RWD sportscar line. Hopefully the future will bring another sporty roadster of the same caliber.
