We've heard stories time and time again, but hopefully, this time the stories will turn into something tangible. The limited-edition RS was promised to us several years ago, but never made it to U.S. shores. According to Autocar, the feisty RS will be released in Europe come 2015, complete with a 2.3 liter EcoBoost motor good for over 330 horsepower. The Focus RS will take from its tamer little brother, the Focus ST, all the performance offered, turn it up a notch, and dispel most of the younger sibling's practicality. Still, the RS will be offered in a 5-door configuration only, so it won't be a track-day special. However, a hot-hatch as aggressive as this may not be a hit with US buyers, who would rather spend their money on a Mustang if they wanted a really hot Ford.
