Corvette Racing events

From Richard Newton, Editor of Corvette Fever: OK gang start putting you vacation days aside. Corvette Fever magazine and Car Guys have rented Sebring for May 23 and 24, 1998. This will be the Corvette Driving Experience. We're going to use the long course - 3.6 miles. This will give Corvette owners the chance to drive the historic Sebring course.

This long course will give you a chance to truly experience what Corvette performance is all about. We're bringing the X-S Corvette out for this one. Rmember this is really not a race - just a chance to drive your Corvette fast. No more sixty second bursts on the interstate highway system - put your foot down and watch the tach climb. You can find out more about Car Guys at carguys.com

In order to attend BMW related events you usually must belong to the BMW CCA. The cost to you is $35.00 annually. With that you will get the national magazine, Roundel and your local chapter's newsletter. They encourage other marques to join in the activities and are a great bunch of enthusiasts. To Join:

With credit card: call 800-878-9292 between 9AM-5PM EST If you want an application, the local BMW dealer should be carrying them or you can call the South Central Region VP, Leo Newland (great guy!) at 817-923-2212.

If you join do our friend, Brian Foster, a favor and note that you were referred by member # 105709 -- thanks.

Porsche Club events vary from region to region. Some allow cars other than Porsches to attend, others do not. You must contact the person listed to verify if that event will allow non-PCA members to attend.
