 » WHY TO BUY?
If you are running a turbocharger on your vehicle, it is absolutely crucial that you have all the correct components for the turbo to proper functionally. One of the most important parts of your turbo system is the wastegate. As your turbo builds up pressure, it is the job of your 928 wastegate to divert exhaust gases away from the turbo to prevent over boosting. Here at Andy's we have a great selection of 928 wastegates. Whether you want an all-out racing setup or something more suitable to daily driver use, our offering of 928 wastegates from all of the leading brands is sure to have you covered.
 » DID YOU KNOW?
The wastegate is actually a flapper valve that mounts on your turbo setup. It is controlled by an actuator which is set to a predetermined boost level. When that boost level is achieved the actuator opens the wastegate and redirects exhaust from the turbo impeller straight into the exhaust system so that the turbo slows down and does not over boost. If the turbo were to over boost it would cause all sorts of problems from a blown head gasket to a completely grenaded motor. It is important that you make sure you have the right 928 wastegate setup for your turbo if you want to keep your motor healthy.
