What types of accessories can I buy for an intake?
One of the most popular accessories is a water guard. Since cold air intakes in particular have air filters that are so close to the ground, they can be prone to sucking in water if you are driving in wet conditions. We sell water guards you can buy and put on the intake to protect against that. Also, there are heat shields available, where upon installation to your intake the heat shield draws some heat from the air allowing a lower temperature air into the intake (lower temperature air is denser, and creates more horsepower when it goes through the intake).
