» WHY TO BUY?
If your ride is seriously lacking in power, or if you just can't get enough of it, you might want to consider installing a new Dakota supercharger kit. The fact that you can literally bolt on gobs of horsepower and torque is a very attractive option, especially when most Dakota supercharger kits come with everything you need for installation. Many Dakota supercharger kits are also 50-state emissions legal, meaning that you can sport that distinctive blower whine without being worried about getting popped by the po-po.

A supercharger is, for all intents and purposes, an air compressor designed to force large amounts of air through your Dakota engine. This mass volume of air, in conjunction with the appropriate amount of fuel, combine to create more power than could be accomplished through natural aspiration alone. Supercharger kits can come in many different forms, including centrifugal, Roots-style, and twin-screw, depending on the Dakota supercharger kit manufacturer. Each style has its advantages and disadvantages, such as price and efficiency, but all of them will give your ride the kick in the pants it needs to hang with that guy on your block who keeps revving at you every time he drives by.
